Pennline supports The Christie Cancer Appeal Inaugural Ball

September 26th, 2013 by Victoria Britton

Last Friday Pennline supported the Inaugural Ball at MediaCityUK in partnership with, BBC radio Manchester and The Composer Works in aid of the Christie Cancer Hospital Mobile Chemotherapy Unit. As well as providing some merchandise pens, Pennline supplied the VIP photo backdrop which was the focal point for photographers on the night.

The event was hosted by Bill Turnbull (BBC Breakfast) with Chris Hawkins (BBC6 Music ) and Clare Nasir (ITV London and CBBC). Guests came from the BBC, ITV, Production companies and many media related organisations. Live music was performed by Thrill Collins and the glamorous Goldstone Singers. The Magic sensation 10 year old Daniel Rhodes kept the guests entertained throughout the meal with amazing tricks.

The event raised around £10,000 towards The Christie Appeal and we are incredibly proud to have been involved.

Chris Horrocks Owner of Glue Media and said,

“This whole event relied on goodwill and acts of kindness and generosity. We have been overwhelmed by our supporters’ efforts. Thank you to Victoria and the Pennline team for their great support and invaluable assistance”.
