Pennline are a leading local supplier of PPE and specialist workwear, and we take great pride in offering our customers the lastest innovations in clothing and equipment design, to ensure your employees have the best kit available to keep them safe and comfortable.
A new addition to our range this year, from renowned PPE/workwear supplier Portwest, is their Flame Resistant GO/RT Polo Shirt (FR76). This long-sleeved workwear shirt is manufactured from a high-tech fabric that gives the shirt both flame resistance and anti static-properties.
The 66% Modacrylic fibre gives the garment its permanent flame resistant properties, that does not deteriorate after repeated washing – unlike some flame retardant finishes that either gradually reduce with time, or require specialist cleaning to preserve their effectiveness..
The fabric also contains 32% polyester together with 2% carbon fibre, whose purpose is to provide permanent anti-static properties to the polo shirt.
This high-tech, lightweight fabric is blended without any chemical treatment, giving the so-called Modaflame Knit a soft, natural touch which combines optimum protection with excellent breathability and moisture management. The garment is also highly practical, being machine washable at 40ºC.
Designed for multi-risk avoidance applications across multiple standards, including EN ISO 20471 Orange (for high visibility clothing) and GO/RT3279 (Rail Industry Standard), this Portwest polo shirt also features flame resistant reflective tape across the chest, shoulders and arms.
Availability is limited to a single colour – an eye-catching (literally!) orange – with contrasting navy cuffs and collar. Pennline can arrange for the polo shirts to be printed, as required, to personalise the garment and make sure your brand gets noticed for all the right reasons.
