As outlined last week, Portwest has launched a new trend-led workwear collection, the KX3 workwear range. The Portwest KX3 workwear range includes a polo shirt, three different workwear trouser options, a choice of two fleeces and a baffle jacket for colder weather.
The KX3 Flexi Trouser (T803) is manufactured from a 270 gsm polyester/elastane fabric that incorporate Portwest’s 4-way stretch functionality for improved freedom of moment. The pre-bent knee shaping also adds to the wearability of these versatile five-pocket slim-fit trousers, which feature a fully ribbed elasticated waistband with drawstring to ensure a universal fit. Double layer fabric in the knee area provides extra protection and comfort whilst kneeling. Colours available are black or metal grey, in sizes S-3XL.
Another trouser design in the range is the KX3 Ripstop Trouser, made from a 230 gsm poly-cotton ripstop weft stretch fabric that provides the wearer with superior comfort and increased flexibility of movement. The rugged KX3 Ripstop features triple-stitched durable seams and boasts an impressive yet highly practical 14 pockets, including phone, rule and zipped side pockets. These trousers can accommodate knee pads, in a choice of two tiered locations for optimum positioning, and the leg length is adjustable between 31 and 33″. Available in either black or dark blue, they can be ordered in sizes 28″ to 48″ waist.
The KX3 Cargo Trouser offers a contemporary styling and is made from 98% cotton with 2% elastane for superior comfort and freedom of movement. The eight-pocket design also features adjustable hem length, a high-rise back waistband, and is available in a choice of three colours – black, dark navy or metal grey – in sizes 28″ to 48″ waist.
The final garment in this new Portwest range is the KX3 Baffle Jacket, with a body section made from “Insulex” padded nylon and with polyester weft knitted sleeves for a truly contemporary design. The idea behind the two-fabric design, as well as looking great, is that it helps balance core body insulation with increased freedom of movement. The full-zip design also features a hood and elasticated hem and cuffs. The grey marl/black KX3 Baffle Jacket is available in sizes S to 3XL and is supplied with interchangeable zip pullers, in common with other items in the range.
