Pennline, the East Midlands’ leading supplier of workwear and PPE requirements, can now supply a range of vegan safety footwear, including boots and trainers.
The range, is free from any animal content, including the glues used in their production, which are made from natural resins.
All designs comply with standard EN ISO20345:2011 and feature steel top caps, rated to 200 Joules, and anti-penetration midsoles rated to minimum 1100N.
At the lighter end of the range, the Kyanite safety trainers are available in either grey/orange or black. They are made from synthetic PU with moisture wicking mesh lining and feature removable memory foam footbeds for all-day comfort. With plenty of padding, an energy-absorbing heel and an SRA-rated slip-resistant antistatic sole, the Kyanite is a great all-rounder, available in sizes 6-12.
The FS214 is a black industrial safety trainer with a breathable mesh lining and removable EVA/Mesh footbed insole. It is rated to the superior SRC slip resistance standard and features reinforced PU overlays on the toe cap and heel for additional durability.
The Amblers Safety boots are available in brown or black and in sizes 4-13, making them suitable for a wide range of wearers. Like the FS214 trainers, the boots are made from a combination of microfiber, mesh and synthetic PU, and have breathable mesh lining. Steel toecaps and midsoles provide the essential protection, whilst padded collar and tongue supply additional comfort and support. The SRC-rates slip resistant sole is made from single density PU material.
